Who Is Responsible for the Negative Campaigning in the Senate Race?
Unless you’ve been locked in a closet for the last few weeks, you’ve probably seen TV commercials for both Ted Cruz and David Dewhurst. The two candidates in the Republican run-off for the U.S. Senate have been running many commercials, hoping to eventually replace Kay Bailey Hutchison, who is not running for re-election.
On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Cruz maintained he is not responsible for the negative tone of the campaign.
“My opponent unfortunately has spent over $10 million of his vast personal fortune just flooding the air waves with false personal character attacks all aimed at me.
Cruz says he and his team have not reciprocated.
