What’s in a Name? UMC Changes the Name of Its Transport Service

What used to be called Lubbock EMS is now called UMC EMS.
“We feel like this re-branding effort is sound business in that it will help us build brand loyalty with our patients to help better identify the service with the health system,” said Greg Bruce, VP of corporate services.
“Our name has changed our look, but not our passion to serve,” said Dr. Joe Sasin, medical director of UMC EMS and the UMC Emergency Center. “ Pre-hospital care remains an important part of our mission.”
Vehicles and uniforms will have a new look.
