Hillary Clinton is running for President again and the media can't stop talking about her accomplishments. Some on the left have even gone so far as to say she is the most accomplished person to ever run for President.

First Lady, United States Senator, and Secretary of State. Great titles and hard to beat on a resume. Resume's alone won't get you the job though and you can have a fantastic resume only to fall apart under the scrutiny that is the job interview. For Hillary Clinton and her supporters, this is where all those titles add up to mean very little. For all the nice titles Clinton has had, she has had little to show for her efforts.

According to GovTrack.us, only three pieces of legislation sponsored by Hillary Clinton were ever signed into law. One bill renamed a portion of a highway after Tim Russert while another bill renamed a post office. Another established the Kate Mullany National Historic Site in New York. While it's not easy to get a bill passed and signed by the President, one would think that a Senator with the star power of Clinton would be able to do more.

In 2008, Politifact reported that while Clinton worked on pieces such as No Child Left Behind and healthcare for military reservists, they point out that she was often signing on or helping with other member's legislation. Something that is actually pretty common.

By the way, in the section where Politifact lays out which legislation Clinton helped out on, none of those bills had anything to with women and Clinton is portrayed as doing so much for women.

Even the liberal website DailyKos wrote about Clinton in 2007 with the author calling Clinton an "empty pantsuit".

As measured by these definitions, Hillary Clinton's leadership over her seven years in the Senate has been marginal, and her effectiveness over her Senate terms has been extremely poor.  In fact, she has a remarkably poor track record at turning her sponsored legislation into law, to the extent that she's an outlier among her Democratic colleagues.  Of 337 bills that Hillary has introduced, only 2 have become law.  These numbers are always lower than you'd think -- it isn't easy to get a bill passed -- but Hillary's batting average is especially poor.

Ouch.

For Clinton, he record gets even worse when we turn our attention to her record as Secretary of State. The Washington Post reminds us that some in the administration couldn't even name one accomplishment of Clinton's.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki raised some eyebrows this week, when she was unable to name  a single tangible accomplishment of the first audit of the department, which was a major project initiated under the leadership of former Secretary Hillary Clinton. “I am certain that those who were here at the time, who worked hard on that effort, could point out one,” Psaki said in response to a question from Associated Press reporter Matt Lee.

That’s not exactly the kind of answer the former secretary would appreciate, given the fact that she is preparing to launch a major publicity blitz around the June publication of her memoir about her years at the State Department. And that, if she runs for president, her time as the nation's top diplomat will be prominently featured.

Really now, can you name something that Hillary Clinton was able to accomplish as Secretary of State? The reset with Russia has been a disaster, the Middle East is still on fire, she refused to name Boko Haram a terror organization, and lets not forget about Benghazi.

Not a pretty picture.

The media and those on the left will continue to go on about Hillary Clinton's accomplishments, but they will do so without specifics. Why? Because the truth isn't the image and story the media wants to tell about Clinton. They want to turn her into a figure that has done so much for so many because they know that many Americans will simply buy into it.

The Hillary Clinton story is being rolled out by those on the left as a great story. Someone who has accomplished so much that she is the only answer for 2016. That her accomplishments alone make her the right choice for President. Don't be fooled.
