Western art will be featured at Lubbock’s Garden and Arts Center.

The City of Lubbock’s Garden and Arts Center will host a reception on Friday, September 7th for the opening of Western Classic, a collection of western art from five West Texas artists.

The exhibit will feature art from Berry Arthur of Abilene, Bob Chennault of Hurlwood, Paul Friske of Abilene, Neal Kleman of Sudan, and Buster Jones of Lubbock.

Caricature artist Rodrigo Neely will also be at the event to include attendees in his own type of art.

The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Center, which is located at 42nd Street and University Avenue.
