On Thursday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Larry Driscoll from the West Texas Home Builders Association (WTHBA) talked with Chad Hasty about their annual Parade of Homes.

This year, the three featured neighborhoods are Lakeridge South on 103rd and Quaker, Vintage Township at 122nd & Quaker, and Kelsey Park on 130th and Memphis. Lakeridge and Vintage will have 6 houses on display this year, and Kelsey Park will be showcasing 10 houses. Driscoll said that last year, over 14,000 people visited the parade, and he expects a similar turnout this year, if not bigger. Driscoll added that the parade is not just for people looking for a new home, but also for people looking to redecorate or just looking for ways to spruce up their own homes.

The Parade of Homes kicked off on June 14th and runs through June 29th. Hours are Monday through Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and can be purchased either on-site, or at First Bank and Trust. One ticket is good for all three neighborhoods, and a portion of the proceeds of all ticket sales will go to Lubbock Homes for Heroes.
