The 2012 high school football regular season is wrapping up, and high school playoffs are ready to go. Orr said one of the biggest playoff stories is Lubbock High, which is advancing to the playoffs for the first time in 37 years. Tonight, Lubbock High takes on Amarillo in its first playoff game.
Other big games this week include Monterrey High School taking on Palo Duro. Orr said that Palo Duro loves to play a running game, and Monterrey knows how to run the field as well, so it should be a good matchup. Also, Frenship vs. Canyone High will be a “dandy” of a game this week. Other games include Estacado vs. Perryton, Hereford vs. Randall, and Andrews vs. Borger.
Be sure and tune in to the FAN Friday night at 10 PM for the final West Texas Friday Night Scoreboard show of the season.
