Mayor Dan Pope is asking Lubbock citizens to join in on the annual Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation.

This challenge runs through the end of April and encourages residents to make a commitment to manage water resources more wisely. The annual challenge is a non-profit nationwide community campaign to see which community heads can best encourage their residents to make a series of online pledges.

Residents can win a new Toyota Prius, water saving fixtures, and many other prizes.
