Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on the steaming topics.

1.War on Cigars (link)

I love cigars! One of my favorite things to do is to sit down with a nice adult beverage and enjoy a fine cigar. It's no secret that there are some in Washington that want to raise taxes on cigars just like they have for cigarettes. Well, the War on Cigars is back in the spotlight thanks to some who believe flavored cigars are causing children around America to pick up the habit. Now, I'm no fan of chocolate or strawberry flavored cigars, but this is just an attempt to get Government more in the lives of cigar lovers and business. I don't think cigars are the big threat to kids. Check out the link above for more info.

2. Tebow touchdowns might help abortions (link)

An idiot blogger who probably hates Tim Tebow's religion and view on life is trying to raise money for every touchdown Tebow scores. The money is meant for abortion clinics.

“For every touchdown Tebow throws next week … donate $5 or $10 to your local pro-choice organization,” urges ‘Sophia’ of the Abortion Gang blog.

“I figure this is indeed the best way to enjoy football, support Tim Tebow (more touchdowns, mannn!!!), and give, give, give to pro-choice organizations earning little to no glory, yet desperately in need of funds,” she adds.

Amazing how libs act isn't it?

3. Mayor and Debate

Mayor Tom Martin will join the show on Friday. We will discuss the latest from this week's City Council meeting and give you the chance to call in and ask the Mayor a question. We will also discuss last night's GOP debate and give out our winners and losers.
