A wanted fugitive from Iowa was arrested earlier this week in Lubbock.

KAMC News reports 35-year-old Ray Allen Blume had an outstanding warrant for his arrest after he didn’t report to a work release facility in Iowa in September.

Investigators from the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force – Team Foxtrot, which includes officers with the Lubbock Police Department, Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety, were led to where Blume was arrested: the area of 50th Street and Upland Avenue.

Blume was previously convicted of burglary and robbery.

He remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center awaiting U.S. Marshals.
