Want to Be a Judge? Justice Quinn Says It’s a Good Job But …

Rex Andrew, kfyo.com

On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Chief Justice Brian Quinn gave a candid, but surprising description of what it’s like to be an important judge.  On the one hand…

“Stay busy.  Stay busy. Can’t complain.  It’s a good job.”

But  then…

Question: A lot of interesting cases?

Quinn:   Most of the stuff you see is just the routine stuff over and over and over again.  You kind of chomp at the bit to find a good one that can test your intellect.  It’s like any other job.  A lot of it’s routine.”

Oh well.
