Voter Registration Deadline for District 28 Special Election

Those interested in voting in the District 28 Special Election will face a deadline soon.

The special election slated for Sept. 9th is between current candidates Charles Perry, Greg Wortham, E.M. Garza, Kerry McKennon, Jodey Arrington, and Delwin Jones.

Early voting for the election is expected to run from August 25th through September 5th.

Monday, August 11th, is the last day to register to vote in the special election and also the last day for voters to change their address.

Potential voters may drop off their Application to Vote or Change of Address forms to the Lubbock Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Ave, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Applicants can also mail their forms to P.O. Box 10536, Lubbock, TX 79408. Applications are also available at various Post Offices in Lubbock.
