Vista Bank is Offering Special Loans for Government Employees

It's week five of the partial government shutdown, and there’s now another Lubbock bank offering financial support for furloughed government employees.

Vista Bank’s People First Loan Program is intended to help those government employees who are suffering under the shutdown.

According to a press release, the special loan program is offering immediate loans with no interest, no fees, and no immediate scheduled payments. To find out more about the loan program, visit vistabank.com

Of course, the program is only available for furloughed federal employees who can prove their work status. Vista Bank isn't the first to offer a program like this. The Alliance Credit Union began promoting their own program in early January.
