The Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting their annual Valentine's dances this month. Tonight is the Sweetheart’s Dance for ages 40 and up. The band Country Company will be playing live music at the dance, which runs from 6:00 to 9:30 tonight at the Lubbock Senior Center at 2001 19th street. Admission is $6.

Tomorrow the Parks and Recreation Department will hold two dances. Another Sweethearts Dance at the Mae Simmons Senior Center on East 23rd and Oak Avenue will run from 7:00 to 9:00 and costs $3 per couple. The Valentine's Dance will start at 6:00 pm and cost $3 a person at the Maggie Trejo Supercenter at 3200 Amherst. Both of these dances are for couples ages 50 and up.

Lastly, A Valentine's Potluck Dinner and Dance will take place at the Copper Rawlings Senior Center at 213 40th street February 17th. That dance starts at 6pm, costs 3 dollars, and is for couples ages 40 and up.
