TxDoT Both main lanes of westbound I-20 at the US 84 overpass in Nolan County are scheduled to be temporarily closed starting in mid-November. The work is to replace the bridge which damaged in a September crash.

Westbound I-20 will be closed the week of November 12th with traffic detoured to US 84 Business and routed around the overpass.

The ¾-mile detour is same route that was used after the bridge was damaged. Signs, cones and a message board will be on site to warn drivers of the detour and direct them the right way.

The inside lane of I-20 will reopen after a week and the outside lane will remain closed until further notice.
