Unleaded Gasoline Prices in Texas Continue to Fall

Once again, the statewide average price for unleaded gasoline has declined in Texas.

According to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch report, the statewide average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline is now $2.40 which is 70 cents less than last December.

Drivers in Amarillo are paying the least at an average of $2.28 and drivers in Beaumont the most at an average of $2.45.

The nationwide average is currently $2.62. AAA projects the nationwide average will be as low as $2.50 by Christmas.
