University Medical Center will host a Halloween happening for children in their hospital.

Young patients within the hospital were formerly able to go visit different hospital departments for trick-or-treating on Halloween, but that effort can be difficult for some patients. This prompted UMC to bring the Halloween events to them.

The Pediatric Halloween Carnival will be held in the playroom at the UMC Children’s Hospital on Monday, October 31st from 2 to 4 p.m. Booths will be set up to allow the costumed kids to trick-or-treat and play carnival games. Staff members have been encouraged to go help make a child’s day a bit brighter as well by attending the event.
