University Medical Center Breaks Ground for New East Lubbock Facility

University Medical Center Monday afternoon broke ground on a new East Lubbock medical facility. The new clinic is located at 4105 Interstate 27.

UMC plans to open the new medical center in November. The 9,000 square feet facility will offer family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine and physical rehab services. UMC states that appointments and walk-in patients will be accepted.

Patients at the yet-to-be-named facility will have access to UMC’s electronic medical record system.

UMC Health System has over 20 UMC-affiliated clinics & facilities located in Lubbock and Wolfforth.
