United Supermarkets to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Research

A local supermarket chain is raising funds for Breast Cancer research. The United Supermarkets promotion, “Who Are You Pink For?” is their annual campaign for breast cancer research.

United, Market Street and Amigos stores are asking guests to help raise funds for research and awareness for the cancer. Today through November 1^st, guests can help raise money by purchasing specially marked products throughout the store.

Products will be clearly marked with special shelf tags. Also, all stores will be selling pink reusable bags for $1.99 each with $1 from each sale going to the cause.

Guests also have the opportunity to indicate who they “are pink for” by sharing their breast cancer story on United’s Facebook page at facebook.com/unitedwesttexas. United will make a $5 donation for each story posted - up to $10,000 - toward breast cancer research and awareness.
