A robber is behind bars after an alert citizen helped track down the suspect. Police arrested Jonathan Riley at a gas station after Charles Milbern recognized him in traffic and called police. Milbern said he had seen a description of Riley and his vehicle on the news earlier, and followed the vehicle until police could take Riley into custody.

An arrest warrant for Riley was filed December 23rd after he committed armed robbery at the United Express on Frankford and 82nd. Police released a profile for Riley, noting that he was a young, slender man in a white and blue hoodie. He had left the crime scene in a white Dodge Charger with a missing bumper.

Riley now faces robbery charges, and is jailed under a $100,000 bond.
