Undercover Lubbock Cops Bust Prostitution Ring Operating Out of Overton, 16-Year-Old Charged With Prostitution

Three members of a prostitution ring operating out of an upscale hotel near Texas Tech are now in police custody.

Just before 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, undercover Lubbock Police officers arrested 18-year-old Megan Norman and a 16-year-old girl as part of a prostitution ring operating out of a room at the Overton Hotel, located in the 2300 block of Mac Davis Lane. The group had been soliciting customers via online ads.

Officers also arrested 24-year-old Chanze Pringler during a traffic stop, after authorities found evidence linking him to the operation.

Norman has been charged with Prostitution, Compelling Prostitution, and Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution. Pringler faces similar charges, also with the addition of Resisting Arrest. The juvenile has been charged with Prostitution.
