TxDOT Begins Lubbock District Seal Coat Program

Throughout July and August counties surrounding Lubbock will receive $8.1 million of preventative maintenance designed to hinder moisture from deteriorating roadways.

Coating operations are expected to continue throughout August. Motorists should expect delays to traffic and guide cars will be used to escort motorists through work zones.

Construction will begin Thursday, July 24 on FM 828 in Dawson County.
