Two people are recovering following a shooting early Sunday morning.

An altercation began inside the Royal Palace nightclub located at 3511 Avenue Q early Sunday morning, and moved outside.

One person reportedly opened fire into a crowd that was outside the nightclub just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday, wounding two people.

One of the responding Lubbock police officers, Officer Harrison, gave medical attention to 21-year-old Earle Cameron until EMS arrived. Cameron was transported to UMC with serious injuries.

Another victim, 26-year-old Misty Johnson, was taken to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries as well.

The suspect fled the scene, and has not yet been located by Lubbock police.

The suspect is described as a 22 to 25 year-old black male, around six feet tall and weighing 150 to 190 pounds with short black hair, and was last seen wearing glasses, a white shirt, and camouflage shorts.
