Two Texas Tech student veterans will lead this week’s Raider Walk.

Christopher Beck and Todd Truesdell will lead the Raider Walk, which begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Dan Law Field, and ends at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Beck served in the U.S. Army in Iraq as well as the U.S. Army National Guard.

Truesdell served in the U.S. Marines, and said “I am honored beyond words with the invitation to lead my fellow Red Raiders with Coach Tuberville in the Raider Walk on this very special Veterans Day, to honor all who have served.”

Ryan Van Dusen, assistant Director of the Military and Veterans Program, said “For them to have the opportunity to lead the team and participate in this great tradition is an example of how dedicated the Texas Tech family is to the success of our student veterans.”
