Two Sodexo employees have been indicted of theft after allegedly stealing over $400,000 from the Lubbock Independent School District. Russell and Tina Wipff are accused of stealing $446,000 over the span of eight years by billing the district for electronics, which they then sold on eBay.

An investigation began last year after an LISD employee handling the Sodexo account noticed some suspicious transactions and the district reported them to the contractor. Sodexo began their own investigation and discovered the alleged actions of the Wipffs.

The company paid LISD over $1.5 million in restitution. The Wipffs face felony theft charges, and are both out on bond.
