Two people were shot at a graduation party in Lubbock this past weekend.

The shooting occurred in the 900 block of East 52nd Street just after 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4.

According to police, the two victims were in the backyard when the shooting occurred.

KAMC News reports one victim got into an argument with another individual and began to leave the backyard when they pulled a gun and fired one shot. The bullet wounded the first victim in the right arm and grazed the arm of a second victim standing nearby.

Both victims were taken by private vehicle to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. No names have been released.

The shooter remains at large and is described by police as a Hispanic male.
