Two Lubbock ISD Students to Attend Space Conference

Two Lubbock ISD middle school students will participate in a NASA conference on Friday.
Irons Middle School student Salem Sedberry and Hutchison Middle School student Grace Rodela will be in Washington, D.C. for the GRAIL MoonKam Expo.
Through the GRAIL MoonKam program, students across the world have taken pictures of the Moon’s surface by using the cameras on the GRAIL spacecraft.
In addition to the students, now-former LISD teacher Michelle Sedberry will also participate in the expo. Sedberry is one of 10 teachers invited to attend the conference.
