Two Killed in Head-on Crash on US Highway 62

Two people died at the scene of a head-on crash on US Highway 62/180 in Hudspeth County on the morning of Thursday, November 19.

A privately chartered bus carrying a band known as “The Ghost Inside” was traveling west bound when it collided with an eastbound semi-truck near mile marker 63.

The band had previously played a show in Lubbock on Wednesday.

TX DPS reports an additional ten patients suffered injuries as a result of the crash and were taken to hospitals in El Paso and Hudspeth County.

It has not been determined at this time what lead to the crash.
