Two Arrested After High Speed Chase

Two people were arrested today after leading Lubbock police on a high speed chase. The chase began when an officer attempted to pull the couple over for driving a stolen vehicle. The chase began on 19th and Avenue C.

KAMC 28 reports authorities chased the white sedan all the way to the FM 1294 exit on I-27, where one of the tires blew out. The couple continued to flee until the car came to a stop at CR 2000. Several purses were found in the vehicle. The identities of the suspects have not been released.
