For over twenty five years now, predictions of impending doom have been spewed forth by scientists, the United Nations and governments around the world.

The "tipping point" for global catastrophe caused by global warming has been right around the corner for well over two decades. And if history repeats itself (which it nearly always does), that same "tipping point" will continue to remain just around the next curve.

In his piece at The Daily Caller, Michael Bastasch has prepared a list of imminent threats to Earth made by scientists and politicians, most of which have already come and gone.

An interesting read, the article illustrates just how little we really do know about forecasting climates, but does show how those who wish to use panic to push their own agendas forward continue to do so -- decade after decade, panic alarm after panic alarm.
