President-Elect Donald J. Trump released a video on Monday November 21, 2016, in which he personally addressed the American people and summarized priorities for the opening days of his presidency.

In the brief video, Trump spoke about the White House Transition Team and people being brought in for the new administration, saying,

Truly great and talented men and women, patriots indeed, are being brought in and many will soon be a part of our government, helping us to make America great again.

Trump emphasized the importance of "putting America first", and concisely listed some of his goals during the first one hundred days of his first term.  Among them are:

  • Jobs
  • Withdrawing from TPP (the Trans-Pacific Partnership) and negotiating quality trade agreements
  • Removing restrictions on American energy production
  • Reducing federal regulation
  • Addressing national security and protection of the U.S. infrastructure from attacks
  • Immigration
  • Ethics reform and placing restrictions on lobbying

In closing, Trump said,

These are just a few of the steps we will take to reform Washington and rebuild our middle class. I will provide more updates in the coming days as we work together to make America great again for everyone, and I mean everyone.
