Trey Blocker Challenging Sid Miller In Primary For Texas Agriculture Commissioner Seat [INTERVIEW]

On Friday's edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Republican Trey Blocker joined the program to discuss his campaign challenging the current Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller on the GOP ticket for the Texas Agriculture Commissioner election.

Blocker talked about reasons why it is very important who holds the office, and what industries the Commission affects in the state.

Why asked by Hasty for reasons why the people of Texas should be concerned with who leads the Agriculture Commission, Blocker replied,

Because, whether you're in Houston or Dallas or Lubbock, we all like to eat and we all like to have clothing on our backs right? And so we need to protect and promote agriculture in the state of Texas, because we want our food and our clothing and our fuel to come from Texas, not China or India...Everybody should care about this race.
