A traffic stop in Lubbock has resulted in the recovery of 'truckloads' of stolen merchandise.

On Monday, September 1, Lubbock Police officers from the Burlary Suppression Unit attempted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. The driver fled from the vehicle on foot and police located him inside of a nearby home. Officers subsequently found a multitude of stolen property including an ATV in the backyard of the residence and, reportedly, seized four truckloads of stolen merchandise.

So far, detectives have matched the recovered items to five burglaries.

The suspect, 28-year-old Samuel Danley, was arrested later in the evening on September 1. Danley was charged with one count of theft under $50 and 2 counts failure to display a driver’s license.
