Another flashing yellow arrow will be installed Thursday in Lubbock at 31st St. and Quaker Ave.

The flashing yellow signal motions to drivers to yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians when turning left, previously indicated by a circular green light.

This is the sixth of many traffic signals updated by the city to conform with the latest revisions to the Texas Manual on Traffic Control Devices. The city said more signals will be updated throughout the spring and summer.
