Top Water Official Thanks Lubbock Citizens During Interview on KFYO
It’s been hot. Rainfall is still below normal. But somehow we are saving water. On KFYO, Aubrey Spear, the city’s director of water resources explained:
“We have found that during April, May and June, if you put all those together, we’re probably using in comparison with those three months last year about 25% less water than we did last year. We applaud the rain, the little less heat and the citizens of Lubbock for complying with the stage 2 drought restrictions.”
