Tonight’s the Night for Texas Tech University and City of Lubbock Urban Project

Tonight wraps up a week long celebration aimed at highlighting the potential of downtown sustainability.

Bands Benefit the Buddy Holly Center: 7-10 p.m. Nov. 7. A night of local bands will be featured on Avenue J in the Urban Stage.

Texas Tech University and the City of Lubbock teamed up to reconstruct a downtown city block and fill it with a week’s worth of events to demonstrate what is possible with a revitalized downtown area.

The week culminates tonight with the Band Benefit the Buddy Holly Center from 7-10 tonight. Local bands perform on Ave. J in the Urban Stage.
