Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show, Todd Klein, candidate for Lubbock Mayor, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about the race and many issues facing the city.

Klein and Hasty discussed many different issues, among them were: Klein's qualifications and experience, the Lubbock City Charter and the structure of city government, the City Manager's position, tornado sirens, Citizen's Tower, water and electric power, and citizen's and city employee's right to carry firearms.

While talking about armed citizens and employees, including those attending City Council meetings, Klein said:

I believe that private citizens, if they're law abiding and trained, we are safer with those folks amongst us. The people that are going to do us harm are not those that seek to go through the legal process. So I'm not at all concerned about that.
