On Tuesday's The Chad Hasty Show, Todd Baines, owner of Massage Envy in Lubbock joined Chad to talk about their upcoming fundraising event, Healing Hands for Arthritis, a national event held annually by Massage Envy, taking place to raise awareness for the Arthritis Foundation.

The event will be a lunch and early afternoon gathering on Wednesday, September 17th from 11:00am - 2:00pm at Massage Envy located at 82nd & Quaker in the Village Shopping Center. People are invited to stop by for free chair massages, grilled hot dogs & hamburgers, chips and drinks. Other merchants in the Village Shopping Center will also be in attendance handing out coupons and other goodies.

Donations of cash, checks or cards are encouraged, but not required. Food will be served starting about 11:30. In addition, Massage Envy will donate 10% of all in-clinic massage fees this Wednesday.

Arthritis affects people of all ages, with about 1 in 5 Americans affected nationwide, about 44,000, including roughly 300 children under the age of 18 being affected locally.

Massage Envy has been open in Lubbock for over 7 years, and was purchased by Baines in July 2014, and will soon be converting to Massage Envy Spa.
