Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Tiger Pratt, candidate for the District 2 seat on the Lubbock City Council, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about his run for the position, and why he wants to represent citizens in the spot being vacated by Floyd Price.

Pratt is native to Lubbock, and is a local business owner.

Pratt and Hasty discussed topics currently in front of the city, including the purchase of  Citizen's Tower, guns bans at city council meetings, and city-wide smoking bans. The subject of taxation was also in the mix. While sharing his views on taxes, Pratt said that as a city, Lubbock should be cultivating an environment where businesses can thrive, and should be, "Doing whatever we can to look at keeping taxes low, or lowering them. I'm a big proponent of that."
