Three People Killed in Shooting at Maryland Mall

Three people were killed in a shooting at a Maryland mall Saturday morning.

According to the Associated Press, the Howard County (MD) fire and emergency services department sent out a tweet late Saturday morning saying that police and rescuers were responding to the Mall in Columbia, Maryland.

Just after 1:15p Eastern Time, 12:15p Central Time; ABC Radio News reported that one of the people who died is the suspected gunman.  Also, the crime scene at the mall has been secured by authorities for the past hour.
Authorities at a mid-afternoon press conference stated they did not know the identities of the people killed nor a motive for the shooting. Detectives were at the mall interviewing witnesses.
