Three People Injured in Overnight Shooting; Suspect in Custody [AUDIO]
A shooting at a popular bar and grill leaves three people injured overnight.
Lubbock Police responded to a call of shots fired at 2:05 a.m. Saturday inside Jake’s Sports Café at 5025 50th Street.
LPD tells KFYO News that officers located the suspect’s vehicle, but it was abandoned. The suspect was later apprehended by LPD and is in custody.
John Edwards, manager at Jake’s spoke with KFYO News about the incident.

The status of the shooting victims is not known at this time.
Edwards encourages patrons of Jake’s to visit tonight for the 6 p.m. kickoff of Texas Tech Football game at Texas State. Security will be on hand at Jake’s.
