Threatening Letters Containing White Powder Delivered to Dallas Schools

WFAA in Dallas is reporting that three letters containing threats and white powder were delivered three Dallas area schools today. Pierce Early Childhood Development Center and Clifton Early Childhood center in Irving, and West Garland Head Start Center in Grand Prairie received letters claiming to be from al-Qaida. Lighthouse Baptist Church in Grand Prairie also received a letter.

Hazardous materials experts were summoned to the sites, and the schools were evacuated. The white powder has not yet been identified.
