The ‘Tasty Hasty’ Charity Cupcake From Cake

If you are in a giving mood but also have a sweet tooth, I would encourage you to go by and see our friends over at Cake.

Every Friday you can purchase one of their charity cupcakes like the 'Tasty Hasty'. Since January of 2010, Cake and LFN have partnered up to promote their charity cupcakes. Proceeds from 'Tasty Hasty' and 'Sexy Rexy' cupcake go to benefit the Kids Cafe. The Kids Cafe is part of the South Plains Food Bank and is a program for children who aren't fortunate enough to have an evening meal. The Kids Cafe goes in and helps provide a hot meal for these kids. When kids go to bed hungry it causes so many issues, so the Kids Cafe and the South Plains Food Bank provides a great service.

Besides picking up a 'Tasty Hasty', be sure you also purchase some of their other cupcakes as well. I'm a big fan of their Red Velvet and Diner cupcakes. Also, be sure to thank them for helping out the Kids Cafe. It's a service that they don't have to do, but are doing so because they love to give back to the South Plains community. It's something some other local businesses could learn from.

Cake is located at 82nd and Quaker inside Kingsgate Center South. They are located near Sun Harvest. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am until they are sold out.
