The DMV is Celebrating Their 100th Anniversary With Special License Plates

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles has announced a new specialty license plate commemorating the 100^th Anniversary of motor vehicle registration in Texas.

The 100-Year license plates will be available starting September 1^st and continuing through August 31, 2018. They cost $30 per year and can be renewed annually. The commemorative plates will have a reproduction of the 1917 radiator seal in the middle and the digits 19 and 17 in the top left, and right, corners of the license plate.
