On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News Ashley Osborne, Director of Operations of the Bridge of Lubbock, talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about some of the service projects the organization is working on.

The Bridge has several outreach programs coming up in the holiday season. On Monday, November 19th, they will host a Thanksgiving lunch at Oakwood Baptist Church. Osborne said last year, they served nearly 300 people at this luncheon and provided them with canned food, and she hopes to have a similar turnout this year.

The Bridge also has year-round service projects, such as after-school programs for low-income and at-risk children. They also have Tammie's Closet, a free clothes closet offered the 2nd and last Monday of the month. Osborne said donations to the closet are always welcome, and they are in particular need of mens clothing.
