Texas Tech Volleyball to Finish Season Against Kansas Saturday

Texas Tech volleyball will wrap up their regular season this weekend.

The team will take on No. 20 Kansas at the Horejsi Family Athletics Center in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Jayhawks have won 12 of the last 13 contests, and now controls the overall lead in the series with Texas Tech. Kansas is 18-16 against the Red Raiders.

Tech’s last win against Kansas was in 2010 in a 3-2 victory in Lubbock.

Texas Tech player Rachel Brummitt has also broken the school’s single-season digs record against TCU on November 7th, passing Melissa McGehee’s school record set in 2000.

Entering the weekend, Brummitt has 499 digs, 51 more than the previous record.

First serve is at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24th.
