A Texas Tech women’s volleyball player has earned conference honors.

Freshman Meghan Stacy has become the fourth Red Raider to earn a Big 12 weekly award, after being named the conference Rookie of the Week.

Stacy totaled 19 kills in Tech’s lone match last week, a 3-1 win against West Virginia on Saturday Evening.

She matched her career high in kills, which was set the week before against No. 14 Kansas State.

Stacy, an Ozark, Montana native, is the third Red Raider to earn Rookie of the Week honors this season, along with Emily Ehrle and Emily Ruetter.

This is Tech’s fifth weekly award for the season, as Rachel Brummitt has also garnered Defensive Player of the Week accolades twice.

The Red Raiders will play Oklahoma at 7 p.m. Wednesday at McCasland Field House in Norman.
