The Texas Tech football team will be wearing some new uniforms for their Big 12 opener on Thursday night against Oklahoma State.

Kliff Kingsbury and company will be looking to bounce back from a 49-28 loss at home back on September 13 at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks with the loss dropping the Red Raiders to 2-1 on the season.

As for Tech's opponent, Oklahoma State comes in on a two game win streak after falling in their season opener to the number one ranked team in the nation in the Florida State Seminoles.

This will be the Red Raiders second straight game to break out new uniforms. They wore a throwback version of the early 90s uniforms worn in Tech linebacker Zach Thomas' days in the loss to Arkansas.

Kickoff for this game is set for 6:30 p.m. from Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma and can be seen on ESPN.
