An annual event to help beautify the Texas Tech campus will be held this week.

The Arbor Day celebration will be held at Tech’s Memorial Circle from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, and will feature live music, free food, t-shirts, and planting trees alongside other students.

The schedule of events is as follows:

  • 11 a.m.: Seeds for Needs
  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Free food and t-shirt with student I.D., $5 for faculty/staff members
  • 11:50 a.m. – 12:50 p.m.: Live music featuring Fallen Riviera
