Texas Tech to Begin Taking Football Bowl Ticket Requests Tuesday

Texas Tech’s football team will begin accepting bowl ticket requests from some fans this week.

The Red Raiders have become the second bowl-eligible team in the Big 12 Conference following their 56-53 win against TCU on Saturday.

Tech will give first priority to 2012 football season ticket holders and Red Raider Club members at the $100 level. Those fans can submit their bowl requests beginning on Tuesday, October 23^rd online at www.texastech.com or by calling the athletics ticket office at 742-8324.

The athletics ticket office opens at 8:30 a.m.

Tech is currently 6-1 on the season, and is ranked 14^th in this week’s BCS standings.

The Red Raiders will face off against third-ranked Kansas State on Saturday in Manhattan, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
