Three Texas Tech soccer players have been honored by a national publication.

Texas Tech sophomore Jaelene Hinkle, senior defender Morgan Johnson, and sophomore midfielder Paige Strahan were each named to the Top Drawer Soccer Big 12 Top-20 team.

The Red Raiders advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in the 2012 season, and won a school record 16 matches, while going 9-1 at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

The team finished third in the Big 12 this season, which is a program best.

Both Hinkle and Strahan were named to the NSCAA All-Central Region, and all three were named to the All-Big 12 First Team earlier this year.
